DC streaming service reveals its name and show logos ; Swamp Thing live action series confirmed2 min read

 

Warner Bros. has officially announced the name of its new DC streaming service and its named ‘DC Universe’. Along with that comes our first looks at the logos for three of the first shows that’ll be featured: the live action Titans show, new Young Justice: Outsiders cartoon, and the R-rated Harley Quinn animated series.

Additionally a Swamp Thing series is also being developed as an one-hour show exclusively for the service, and has Mark Verheiden (Battlestar Galactica) and Gary Dauberman (IT) on board to write the pilot. They’ll also executive produce alongside Michael Clear and Aquaman director James Wan.

“When CDC researcher Abby Arcane returns to her childhood home of Houma, Louisiana, in order to investigate a deadly swamp-borne virus, she develops a surprising bond with scientist Alec Holland — only to have him tragically taken from her. But as powerful forces descend on Houma, intent on exploiting the swamp’s mysterious properties for their own purposes, Abby will discover that the swamp holds mystical secrets, both horrifying and wondrous — and the potential love of her life may not be dead after all.”
