From the red cape to the house of Zod , the show revolves around elements common to the Man of Steel . While it is to be seen what the show actually holds in for us , we have a new look at the titular Superman villain that will be featuring in the show. Collector of Worlds – Braniac.
While Braniac has been in some capacity in animated shows and comic panels , this would be the first time he would be appearing in a live action TV show. Here is how he will be looking like :
British actor Blake Ritson who will be playing the antagonist appeared for an interview on USA Today. The 39 year old which is not new with playing a bad guy on-screen shares his thoughts of what the SYFY show intends to achieve.
“This is a major expansion of the Superman universe and mythology and the civilization that fostered the greatest hero that ever lived.” , the actor revealed before going on to his character. “He traverses the universe in a gigantic skull ship, ripping cities out of planets, miniaturizing them and placing them on board. But he does so in the spirit of conservation. In his mind, he’s committed to the ultimate philanthropic act: saving all of creation. In many ways it’s analogous to Noah plucking out two of every animal to ensure their survival, even while knowing that others must perish.”
