Hans Zimmer is coming back to scoring superhero movies with X-Men : Dark Pheonix3 min read

As we all know , Hans Zimmer declared his retirement from scoring superhero news after Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice. It should come to as a pleasure to many , he seems to be breaking his exile.

Superhero Abode

The legendary composer declared back in 2016 that he would be taking a break from superhero movies , unless something exciting comes up. Though it’s not yet official , it seems the Dark Knight trilogy composer is coming back for scoring X-Men : Dark Pheonix. Walking down the memory lane , there’s very few franchises Zimmer hasn’t blended his music in. X-Men is one of the few.

However , the thing can well be untrue now as we are hearing confirmations of all sorts from all sides. Primarily , Quicksilver actor Evan Peters was the one who let it slip, while speaking to MTV’s Josh Horowitz on his HappySadConfused podcast, during Sundance. “[The set] was actually very tame. Simon directed this one, and came in very prepared, very professional. It was a different energy on set and everything got done like clockwork. It was very seamless. Everybody was a little bit more level-headed, so it was a very pleasurable, light experience. I think the film is gonna be incredible. Hans Zimmer’s scoring it—I don’t know if I was supposed to say that or not. Simon has surrounded himself with incredible people, and Simon knows this world better than anybody, so it was just cool to see him—he’s so happy and in his element in that world, and also being able to direct and guide everybody in this way. I was very happy for him and I think it’s gonna be great.

While a lot of people has their negative thoughts pondering on the Kinberg’s directorial debut , this might be the first positive turn for them. Additionally , Collider says their reports of the thing are definately more intense than ever before. Hans Zimmer has preciously used his retirement from superhero movies to lend his magic to movies like Dunkirk and Blade Runner 2049. And while Zimmer’s music can definately amp up the menace of the Phoenix force , it is up to the next few months of how the anticipation ratio will stand for the X-Men movie before its release. Check out the stills released by EW from the movie here. And don’t forget to sound off your thoughts in the comments section below.
