IMAX displays its delight as Wonder Woman set to shoot specific scenes with IMAX Cameras2 min read

Wonder Woman is a long step forward by DC Films as it was the only movie in the universe to attain both commercial and critical success among critics and fan alive. Back in the day , when Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman jumped in to save Batman from Doomsday , people were excited by her short yet bad-ass potrayal of the iconic character. But it took Wonder Woman to peg her status as one of the iconic superhero movies ever made.

Patty Jenkins behind the camera , the movie displayed Gal Gadot as the  naive Amazonian princess who through some really selfless and heroic attributes won the heart of many. While the action-sequences were not gigantic , we can except more epicness as the WB/DC project has decided to utilize a bigger screen through IMAX. “I’m excited to announce that Wonder Woman 2, which comes out in the second half of 2019, will be shot with IMAX film cameras in select sequences,”  IMAX CEO Greg Foster specified. This Warner Brothers DC production, the sequel of the global juggernaut from 2017, is directed by Patti Jenkins and produced by Chuck Roven and Rebecca Oakley Roven. And we couldn’t be more excited that IMAX has been chosen to be a part of the film’s design.

IMAX’s 1.43:1 aspect ratio presents the viewer with a bigger screen which is ideal for some bigger than life sequences. Avengers : Infinity War would be the first movie to be shot entirely on IMAX cameras. The general Hollywood blockbusters tend to just roll out their movies in an IMAX format which is good too. But sequences shot in IMAX cameras result to better quality and sound. Wonder Woman 2’s decision to shoot some of its sequence with IMAX cameras could point some action heavy sequences  hinging on the tension between Wonder Woman and Cheetah.
