Kevin Feige calls the first three MCU phases “Infinity Saga”2 min read
Iron Man to Avengers : End Game – the plethora of 22 films has a name now. Empire reveals that Kevin Fiege has remarked the first three phases of Marvel Cinematic Universe the “Infinity Saga”. It makes sense considering how the infinity stones are interwoven into practically almost all stories narrated by the $18 B+ franchise this far.
Avengers: End Game will not only be a new dawn in the Universe but will also serve as the conclusion of a decade of storytelling. It is fabulous how Marvel Studios used the impending doom of Thanos right from Avengers and finally found an epic way to justify that. Each of the Original six Avenger’s character evolution right from the initiation till now is enough to depict the storytelling range of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Yes, there has been some shortcomings and discrepancies but considering so many creative heads working on one continuous flow through all these years, Marvel is doing just fine. The next saga will probably be based on the new heroes as well as the Fantastic 4 and X-Men, the hot property Marvel has got its hand on again after so many years. Whatever it might be, Marvel fans have a long way to go as Marvel Cinematic Universe is not going anywhere anytime soon.
