Metropolis production date and location seemingly revealed2 min read
A new report seems to indicate where and when the Superman prequel Metropolis will be shot.
Last month we came to know about the show to be premiering on the DC Streaming service alongside Titan. The show is set to feature Lex Luthor and Lois Lane in the glorious city of Metropolis before the Man of Steel came in the picture.
We know very less about the show except that the pilot will be helmed by Danny Cannon and written by John Stephens. The show has also reported to have got a 13 episode order from DC.
But now we might have an idea of when to expect the principal photography to commence and where. According to a report from OmegaUnderground , the DC show production period will be on New York City from July-December 2018.
While there’s no official confirmation to the story , the report is uniquely justified. New York City can match the architecture of the beautiful Metropolis and a 6 month production time is required for a 13 episode streaming show.
Metropolis streams on the DC streaming service alongside the live action Titans (based on Teen Titans) , Young Justice Season 3 and a Harley Quinn Animated Show. Let us know what you think of the update in the comments section below and follow us for more Metropolis updates.
Set in the so-called City of Tomorrow before the arrival of Superman, Metropolis follows Lois Lane and Lex Luthor as they investigate the world of fringe science and expose the city’s dark and bizarre secrets.
