Wonder Woman sequel to start shooting this summer2 min read
Earlier it was reported that the Wonder Woman sequel was searching for the right person to cast as Cheetah .
Now it looks like the sequel is ready to go on the floors. ComicBook.com recently got a chance to chat with Charles Roven, who has produced all of the DC Extended Universe’s projects so far, including Wonder Woman.
The producer was quoted “We’re in what I would call development of the screenplay.” Roven explained. “We finally, I think, have a good story to tell. Not kind of – we do believe we have a good story to tell. And then we’re also just moving out of what normally we would call soft prep into hard prep. We’re hoping to start shooting the movie sometime this summer, and hope to have it out by the end of ’19.”
This is a very exciting news for DC fans as the company is going through a lacklusture phase after the failure of Justice League. The sequel for Wonder Woman would see actor Gal Gadot team up with returning director Patty Jenkins as they reportedly take us to the Cold War era. Add to that the possibility of seeing Barbara Ann Minerva aka Cheetah in action, there is plenty to speculate about the sequel. The film will operate under the working title “Magic Hour”, and filming will take place at Warner Bros. Studios in England.
So expect a lot of casting news and bts snaps in the coming days as the cameras start to roll.
